2. Click on "Download Smart Miner" inside your Members Area to download the app.
Double-click on the downloaded exe file to install the app on your computer.
3. Wait a moment for the Setup Wizard to open and follow the setup process.
Select a destination where Computta should be installed.
4. Start Benchmark to estimate how much your computer can generate.
In some cases your Antivirus program will mistakenly identify Computta as malicious software.
Some third party anti-virus programs indeed may give false positives during install of the app and move some parts of it to a “virus chest”, disabling the app.

This happens because the downloaded app is an .exe file and needs to access your CPU and GPU for install, so it’s treated as “suspicious behavior” sometimes.
How to complete the Computta app setup?
​
To complete install and further smoothly run Computta app you need to add these exclusions to your anti-virus settings:

C:\Program Files\Computta
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\yuan
​
If you use Norton Antivirus protection:
On Norton home screen go to Advanced, then under network “Intrusion Prevention” – this must be turned OFF for Computta to work properly.
​
Then save the settings and start Computta app install again.
It should then complete without any problems.
​
In some cases you may also need to add their server IP address to your Firewall settings.
​
In the most popular Symantec’s Norton Anti-Virus create an exception for IPS signatures.
This is found in Firewall settings -> General settings -> Trusted devices, then add a IP 172.104.225.207 and check ‘exclude from IPS’. This will do the job. Other vendors’ firewall settings are similar or just contact their support.
You may want to turn anti virus off completely in case Benchmark process failed again.
5. After benchmark completes, click on Start Earning and the app will start working!
You can check your earning stats right in the application.

"CPU" Central Processing Unit - it's the main processing brain of your computer device.
"GPU" Graphics Processing Unit - or ‘Graphics/Video Card’
"My Devices" means all your computers that the mining application runs on.
You can install and run Computta Smart Miner application on as many computer devices as you have access to and increase your income.
“My Referrals” bar in the Computta Smart Miner main screen shows all your referrals that have the miner software running at the moment and automatically generating you a share of their earnings – your commissions.

"Current Balance" shows the current total balance of your account in mBTC (1/1000 of a Bitcoin) and the current exchange rate in US dollar.
You can turn off the app whenever you like, increase/decrease application’s power depending on how much you use your computer at the moment or switch into a "Smart Mode" by clicking on Advanced Settings.
The Smart Mode will enable you to turn the miner software on only when your computer is idle.
This will make it use your device’s computing resources only when you are not using your PC, thus not interrupting your work or gameplay in any way at all.
​
The advanced settings will let you to fine-tune your smart settings like idle time before the miner starts, the max power load when you’re using your device and when you’re not using it.
You can also tweak these settings for your CPU and GPU separately.
